OUR EXPERIENCES WITH FOREIGN DONOR AGENCIES

We have contacted more than 600 donor agencies all over the world for donation. But our experiences are bitter & sour. Some of them never bother to answer. Some give answers the following way..

1.

Dear T.I.M. Rowshan Alam:

Thank you for your letter to the ................ . Regrettably, the Foundation cannot offer you financial support.

Although the work you describe has merit, it is not within the areas that the Foundation's board of directors has selected to be the focus of our grants. With limited resources at our disposal, it is important that the Foundation concentrate its efforts in order to maximize our impact. As a result, we are unable to support many important organizations and projects that lie outside our current funding priorities.
I am sorry that my response is not more positive. Best wishes in your continuing search for funding.

Sincerely,

2.

Unfortunately, the ........... Foundation will not be able to help.  The Foundation is unable to consider unsolicited grant requests.  All grants are initiated and sponsored by members of the Foundation’s Family Council.

I am very sorry that we are not able to offer assistance.  We wish you success in your search for funds.

Sincerely,

3.

Dear Rowshan Alam,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding possible funding of Khazahar Ali Morno Foundation by the .......... Foundation. Although your organization's objectives fall within our broad guidelines, funding from this foundation is unlikely.
The .......... Foundation is small and in order to maximize the effectiveness of our grants, the Board has made a conscious effort to focus on a few specific regions of the world. Although the Foundation has no absolute geographical restrictions, we are not currently accepting proposals for projects based in Bangladesh.
I am sorry we could not be of any further assistance, but please know that we recognize the importance of the work you are undertaking and wish you the greatest of success in finding the funds you need.
Sincerely,
............

There are no ways we are getting any help from any charitable foundation. Why this is happening? Whom they really help? Our guess is they help big fish in charity market with good media coverage, or those are in business like so called micro credit. We need your opinions or advises.
