PAST AND FUTURE OF KAMF

Khazahar Ali Momo Foundation (KAMF) is a small community based charitable organization, doing its job to bring smile to the life of backward people like cobbler,sweeper,raw hide/tannery workers,rickshaw puller & day labors in Shapla-Chottor area Rangpur,Bangladesh for last 5 years. During this time we have worked with them & their families about health,sanitation,education problems & economic development process. With limited fund we couldn't make any revolutionary progress. But at least we have tried & trying with little resources we got.

In July/2014 we hope to start a new project, giving a good family with solvent economic background to every school going poor children of Shapla Chottor area. Also to make sure that there will be no worry for them & their families about education, health, sanitation & better future. We are calling this project "HASHI-KHUSHIR JIBON(A SMILING LIFE)".

But this project is fading our smile from our face. We have selected 75 poor families, each containing minimum 2 school going children for The Smiling Life project.  We will give 50 auto rickshaws to 50 families first.In the next year remaining families will get the vehicles. There will be a mandatory savings system in which every beneficiary family, after taking an auto rickshaw; have to contribute $4/day for 1 year. The foundation will maintain the account on behalf of their school going children & also will provide all the necessary requirement for their proper education &  sound health. It will be the foundation's responsibility to make sure that children of these families become best generation ever. So we need $150,000 to buy 75 auto rickshaws. For the first year we need $100,000.

But we are unable to get any fund for the project. No foreign donor agency agreed to give any money. We have started a crowd funding campaign online. Result in this case also zero after passing two weeks. We still believe A smiling life project is great one & it will bring good fortune to the neglected backward poor peoples of our locality.
