GRANTSEEKER (MAN) PROPOSES GRANTMAKER OR DONOR(GOD) DISPOSES

It is now almost clear to us that we are not getting any grant from any donor agencies. See below some of the return letter that we got in reply of our inquiries about donation.

Dear Rowshan Alam,

Thank you for e-mailing ...... International regarding possible support for KAMF. Unfortunately,....International is not the type of organization that offers grants and/or financial support to organizations. Though we do partner with various organizations, we are currently not looking to expand our operations and thus are unable to engage in any new partnerships. Although we are unable to assist you, we do pray that God will meet your needs.

Dear Sir / Madam

Thank you for your email  requesting financial support.

We regret to have to inform you that we are unfortunately not in the position to consider your application for aid for the following reasons:
..... is a relatively small organisation with very limited financial means. We are consequently forced to concentrate our contributions on specific projects and the latter have to comply with  certain criteria. Concerning your country, we have to draw your attention to the fact that we are already involved in a number of development projects. Hence, we do not see any possibility of adding your project to our list of local partners. 

Under these circumstances, we hope you understand that we cannot consider your proposal.

We are, of course, sorry to disappoint you with our negative reply but we do hope that you will be able to obtain the required assistance from another source in the near future.

Dear Mr. Alam,

Thank you for sending your proposal to the World ...... Foundation. Unfortunately we will not be able to support your project. We receive many more requests than we can possibly support, and therefore we have to establish priorities. One of these priorities being a geographical one. At the moment we do not operate in Bangladesh and have no immediate plans of establishing our presence there.

We appreciate the importance of your work in Bangladesh and wish you all success in finding collaborations with other sources.

So, what have we learn from the above letters? How to deny a proposal gentlemanly.

But we believe that a good intention for a good work must see the light.

We wish you will donate or spread our words through the world that how we have tried & how we been denied.
